Searching for attachments

Before you begin

  • To search for expense report attachments, verify that you are a member of the Administrator security group.
  • To search for tasks, go the Project Command Center (Setup > Projects). You cannot search for tasks on the My Tasks or Tasks by Employee tabs in Manage > Time & Expense.
  • When searching task, project, or phase attachments in the Project Command Center, select to search either the current project or all projects.
  • Click (Refresh) to view current information.

To search for an attachment

  1. In the Ajera window, click the Attachments tab or button.
  2. Click the Search button.
  3. Search for attachments using one or more of the following conditions:

  1. Click .
  1. Click a category, and click the Select button.

Description

Type all or part of the attachment name. The search is not case-sensitive.

Added

  1. In the Added field, click , and select the first date you want to include in the search.
  2. In the Through field, click , and select the last date you want to include in the search.
  1. Click the Search button.

All attachments meeting any of the conditions appear.

  1. To sort the search results, right-click a column heading .
  2. Click an attachment and do one of the following:
  • Click the Open button to open the linked file.
  • Click the Show Folder button to locate the linked file and its folder.

If the attachment is a URL, Ajera does not verify its path and the Show Folder button remains unavailable.
