This lesson describes the areas of the Project Command Center where you enter and retrieve information but, in the interests of time, does not go into great detail.
Links to help topics point you to step-by-step instructions that provide all the information you'll need.
The project list is where you get a general picture of all your projects. In addition to displaying general information for each project, the project list can display a Gantt chart (timeline) that shows you the schedules of all the projects, relative to one another. To view this chart, click the Show Gantt button on the right of the window. The Gantt chart merely reflects the scheduling information on the Manage tab; it is not interactive and you cannot drag and change the start and end dates in the chart to change a project schedule.
If your project list is large, it can be challenging to find the projects you want. Use the Search field to quickly find any project you selected to show in the project list. You can find a project by searching for project ID, description, or client.
As you learned earlier in this course, the project tree is where you define and view the work breakdown structure of a project. At its most basic level, a project consists of a project and phases.
