Changing a custom invoice format

Caution: If you click the Standard button, it deletes your custom invoice format and replaces it with the standard invoice format you used before creating the custom format.
  1. From the Setup menu, click Invoice Formats.
  2. Click the invoice format you want to change, and click Edit.
  3. Change the settings on the Invoice Format window as needed. Click Save.
  4. Click Custom. The Client Invoice List window appears.
  5. Double-click the client invoice you want to use to change your custom invoice format. For example, if you are changing a custom invoice format to use with projects you bill as time and expense, select a client invoice with a billing type of Time & Expense.
  6. Change the custom invoice format, as needed.
  7. Get help, as needed.
  8. Click the Save icon in the toolbar.
  9. Click the red X at the upper right of the window to close the Client Invoice Designer. The Invoice Format window appears.
  10. Click Save.
