About producing client invoices

You can produce an invoice in the following ways:

  • Preview it online.
  • Review it by printing it.
  • Print it as Final and send it to the client.

When you are ready to send the invoice to the client, Ajera:

  • Prints the invoice on your printer.
  • Updates the invoice status to Final.
  • Opens a new draft invoice for the project, if the project is not yet complete. It moves any transactions with a status of Hold or Future to this new draft invoice. It changes the status of any future transactions to Billable if the date of the transaction is earlier than the cutoff date on the new draft invoice.
Note:

If you want any non-invoiced transactions to appear on the new draft version of the invoice after you print the current invoice, change the status of those transactions to Hold.
