Use the
WBS OBS Link option to indicate if you want to display the WBS OBS View analytics in wInsight Analytics - Multi-Project.
Purpose
The
WBS OBS Link option controls whether or not the WBS OBS View tab is available in the Multi-Project analytics. The primary consideration is whether or not the WBS-to-OBS mapping information is available in the wInsight Analytics database. If the required WBS-to-OBS mapping information has not been set up in wInsight Analytics Administrator or wInsight Analytics Desktop, you cannot use the WBS OBS View tab.
Initial Configuration
When you configure the wInsight Analytics module initially, select
Y (yes) if the WBS-to-OBS mapping information is available in the database and you want to analyze that information in the WBS OBS View analytics.
Select
N (no) if the WBS-to-OBS mapping information is not available or, for some other reason, you do not want the WBS OBS View tab to be available. If you select
N, the WBS OBS View tab is not displayed. (It is also not displayed if you select
Y but no mapping data exists in the wInsight Analytics database.
Ongoing Administration
Normally, you do not change these settings after the initial configuration. However, you can change them at any time (for example, if you later start mapping the two structures).
