Timesheet Period Selection Dialog Box

Use the Timesheet Period Selection dialog box to select and open a timesheet for any labor period.

Navigator opens the Timesheet Period Selection dialog each time you:

The dialog box displays the following:
  • All the labor periods defined on the Calendar tab of Vision Company Timesheet Configuration.
  • The current status of the timesheet for each labor period in the list.

Location

To open the Timesheet Period Selection dialog box, complete the following steps:
  1. On the Navigator workspace, click and select Employee.
  2. From the Timesheet tools menu, select Open or Copy from Prior Timesheet.

Field Description
Date This column displays the start and end dates for each labor period. These dates are set in the Calendar tab of Vision Company Timesheet Configuration. These are the beginning and end dates for which users can charge time to a labor period.

You can click the arrow button to sort this column in ascending or descending order, by date.

Status This field displays the current status of the timesheet for each labor period. For open labor periods, there are several different status values, but for closed labor periods the status defaults to Closed.
Finish Click Finish to close this dialog box.
