Planning Grid Contents
Fields at the top of the Planning grid provide multiplier and currency information. Charts on the Planning grid show data for labor on plans.
- Planning Multipliers and Currency Fields
Fields on the upper right of the Planning tab display multiplier and currency information. Currency is only relevant if you use the Vision Multicurrency feature. All chart and grid information displays in the selected currency. - Labor Plan Summary Chart on Planning Tab
Use the Labor Plan Summary chart on the Planning tab to view the estimate-to-complete (ETC), job-to-date (JTD), and contract amounts for the project, phase, or task that is selected in the Planning grid. This information is useful when you need to compare the ETC and JTD amounts with the contract amount. - Labor Plan Timeline Chart on the Planning Tab
The Labor Plan Timeline chart on the Planning tab displays the cumulative planned and actual labor amounts for each level of the WBS, as well as the contract amount that was earned over the life of the project. Use this chart to analyze the accuracy of forecasts and to improve future planning efforts. - Planning Grid Columns
The Planning grid columns display the levels of the project's work breakdown structure (WBS) and related resources. You can use this grid to modify Navigator plans, but Vision plans are view-only. You must use Vision Project Planning to modify a Vision plan.
