You can create a plan in either Vision Navigator or Vision. After you create plans, you can share plan data between the two applications and have the data synchronize automatically.
Not all plan fields that are maintained within Vision are displayed or maintained in Vision Navigator. However, when a Vision plan is converted to a Navigator plan, the Vision plan's data is synchronized. This synchronization occurs when plan data is published or reverted in Navigator.
Navigator stores the additional Vision fields (primarily from the Project Info Center) in data tables that are not visible. This ensures that all plan data remains intact when data is synchronized between the two applications.
If you change any of the following fields after you create a plan, the field information synchronizes whenever the plan is published and reverted:
