Check Out a Vision Navigator Plan

To edit Vision Navigator settings or to make changes to a Navigator plan record, you must first check out the plan. No other user can modify the plan while you have it checked out.

The Check Out Plan option displays if the plan is a Vision Navigator plan, the plan is not currently checked out to another user, and you have proper access rights. You must have Full, Add/Modify, or Modify Only access rights to Project Planning on the Record Access tab in Vision Role Security to check out a plan record.

To check out a plan, complete the following steps:

1. Click the Planning tab.
2. Click the plan's state indicator and select the Check Out Plan option. You can check out the plan if the plan's state indicator is blue or green. When you click the option, Vision Navigator checks out the plan to you.
3. Update the plan.
4. Save the plan.
