Planning Command Bar

If your Vision Security role allows you to add plans in Project Planning, the Command Bar displays on the Planning tab when you check out the plan and then click the Plan State Indicator. Use these options to create a new plan or to work with the plan that is currently displayed.

Icon	Description
Save	Click this icon to save the current Vision Navigator plan information without publishing the information in Vision.
Save Baseline	Click this icon to save the current Vision Navigator plan as the baseline. The baseline acts as a snapshot of the plan at a certain point in time, which you want to save for comparison purposes. You can have only one baseline version for any plan. If you click this option for a plan that already has a baseline, the newer data overwrites the previous baseline data.
Publish	Click this icon to publish the plan and baseline to Vision. This saves the current plan and copies its values and the last saved baseline to Vision. It changes the plan to a published state. Navigator asks you to confirm that you want to update Vision with the Vision Navigator plan values.
Revert	Click this icon to return to the most recently published Vision Navigator plan. This replaces the current plan and baseline information from Navigator with the information that was last published to Vision. If no plan information has been published to Vision, then you will start the plan over in Vision Navigator. Vision Navigator asks you to confirm the replacement.
Delete	Click this icon to clear all resources and plan entries, including the baseline, for this Vision Navigator plan in both Vision Navigator and Vision. Vision Navigator asks you to confirm the deletion.
Create Plan	Click this icon to create a new Vision Navigator plan. This option is available if a plan does not exist for the project in Vision Navigator or in Vision Project Planning. For this option to be accessible, you must have Full or Add/Modify access rights to Project Planning on the Record Access tab in Vision Role Security.
Check Out Plan	Click this icon to check out the current Vision Navigator plan. This option only displays if the plan is not currently checked out to another user. You must have Full, Add/Modify, or Modify Only access rights to Project Planning on the Record Access tab in Vision Role Security to check out a plan record. Navigator uses an explicit check out and implicit check in process.
Change to Navigator Plan	Click this icon to change the current Vision plan to a Vision Navigator plan. You must have Full or Add/Modify access rights to Project Planning on the Record Access tab in Vision Role Security to check out a plan record.
