Remove Predecessor Relationships Between Tasks

You can remove previously established predecessor relationships between tasks.

To remove predecessor relationships between one or more tasks, complete the following steps:

1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Planning > Project Planning and click the Schedule tab.
2. On the interactive Gantt chart, select predecessor relationships for removal at the task, group, or project level.

   Option	Description
   To remove predecessors for a single task	Select the task bar.
   To remove all children under a specific group level	Select the group level bracket.
   To remove more than one task or group	Use the CTRL or SHIFT keys while selecting task bars or group level brackets. A gray border displays around the selected items.
   To remove predecessors at the project level (all task dependencies)	Either click in an empty space on the interactive Gantt chart or select the project level bracket.

3. Right-click and select Remove Predecessors.
