Import from a Text File Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to enter the name of the text file from which you are importing data into Vision.

Location

To display the dialog box, complete the following steps:

1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Utilities > Advanced Utilities > Data Import.
2. On the Import Utility form, complete the entry of information on the various tabs, and then click Validate or Import on the toolbar.

Field	Description
Table Description	This displays the table description that you entered in the Table Description field on the Main tab of the Import Utility form.
Text File	Click the Browse button. On the Open dialog box, navigate to and select the .txt file from which you want to import data into Vision.
OK	Click this button to proceed with the import process.
Cancel	Click this button to cancel the import process and return to the Import Utility form.
