Revenue Amount
|
This column displays the amount of revenue.

Billed Amount
|
This column displays the total amount billed.
The amount in this column does not includes taxes, but the A/R Amount and Received Amount columns do.

Unbilled Amount
|
This column displays the amount of revenue that has not yet billed. Vision calculates Unbilled Amount as follows:

|
This column displays the amount received in payments. This includes taxes paid.

A/R Amount
|
This column displays the amount that is billed but not yet received in payment. This includes taxes billed.

Spent Amount
|
This column displays the total spent (Labor + Overhead + Direct expenses + Reimbursable expenses).
If you generate the report at billing rates, Spent Amount equals the following at billing value:
Labor + Direct expenses + Reimbursable expenses
To include overhead in Spent Amount, select the Overhead check box in the Print group box on the General tab.

Profit/Variance
|
This column displays the profit or variance amount. Vision calculates Profit or Variance as follows:
Revenue Amount – Spent Amount
When you generate the report at cost rates, the result is called Profit. When you generate the report at billing rates, the result is called Variance.

Profit/Variance Percent
|
This column displays the profit or variance as a percentage. Vision calculates Profit Percent or Variance Percent as follows:
By comparing the profit percentage for the current period to the year-to-date and job-to-date profit percentages, you can see the effect of the recent performance on the overall profitability.
You can only generate this report at billing rates if the Reporting at billing rates option is selected in Configuration.

Labor Billed
|
This column displays the amount billed for labor.
|
Consultant Billed
|
This column displays the amount billed for reimbursable consultant expense.
|
Expense Billed
|
This column displays the amount billed for all expenses.
|
Fee Billed
|
This column displays the amount billed for fees.
|
Unit Billed
|
This column displays the amount billed for units.
|
Add On Billed
|
This column displays the amount billed for add-ons.
Add-ons are markups applied to labor, expenses, consultants, reimbursables, fees, units, or to add-ons themselves. You establish add-ons for a project in Billing Terms.

Taxes Billed
|
This column displays the amount billed for taxes.
|
Interest Billed
|
This column displays the amount billed for interest.
|
Other Billed
|
This column displays the amount billed for charges that are not assigned to a specific category.
Vision decides what to include in this column based on how you set up your revenue accounts in these locations:

Unbilled Gain/Loss
|
This column displays the gain/loss entries to unbilled services due to rate fluctuations.
|
Adjusted Unbilled
|
This column displays the Adjusted Unbilled amount that includes the Unbilled Gain/Loss entries. The calculation for this column is Revenue – Billed + Unbilled Gain/Loss = Adjusted Unbilled. When this column is displayed in functional currency, it will match the Unbilled Services account in the general ledger, and will also match the Unbilled Services line in the File Reconciliation Report.

Hours
|
This column displays the total hours worked (regular, standard overtime, and secondary overtime).
|
Budgeted Hours
|
This column displays the total hours budgeted.
Your selection in Budget Source on the Budget tab determines whether budget hours and amounts come from the project budget worksheet, the associated plan's budget, or the associated plan's baseline.

ETC Hours
|
This column displays the estimate to complete (ETC) hours. The estimate to complete hours are the estimated additional labor hours required to complete the work.
|
EAC Hours
|
This column displays the estimate at completion (EAC) hours. The estimate at completion hours are the estimated total number of hours that will have been worked at the completion of the project: Actual hours + Estimate to complete hours.

Balance Hours
|
This column displays the labor hours remaining to complete the work. Vision calculates Balance Hours as follows:
Budgeted Hours – Job-to-date hours

Labor Amount
|
This column displays the labor amount spent.
|
Overhead Amount
|
This column displays the overhead amount.
To display overhead in this column and include it in the Spent Amount column, you must select the Overhead option in the Print group box on the General tab.
If you want to include overhead but you have not yet allocated overhead for the current period, select the Estimate Overhead check box on the General tab to have Vision use estimated overhead amounts.

Total Reimbursable
|
This column displays the amount spent for reimbursable consultant expenses and other reimbursable expenses.

Reimbursable Consultant
|
This column displays the amount spent for reimbursable consultant expenses.
|
Reimbursable Other
|
This column displays the amount spent for reimbursable expenses other than consultant reimbursable expenses.

Total Direct
|
This column displays the amount spent for direct consultant expenses and other direct expenses.
|
Direct Consultant
|
This column displays the amount spent for direct consultant expenses.

Direct Other
|
This column displays the amount spent for direct expenses other than direct consultant expenses.

Total Consultant
|
This column displays the total spent for all direct consultant expenses and reimbursable consultant expenses.

Total Other Expenses
|
This column displays the total spent for all direct expenses and reimbursable expenses other than consultant expenses.

ETC Amount

This column displays the estimate to complete (ETC) amount. The estimate to complete amount is the estimated additional monetary amount that is required to complete the work.

EAC Amount
|
This column displays the estimate at completion (EAC) amount. The estimate at completion amount is the estimated total monetary amount that will have been expended at the completion of the project.

Budgeted Amount
|
This column displays the budgeted monetary amount.

Balance Amount
|
This column displays the monetary amount remaining to be spent to complete the work. Vision calculates Balance Amount as follows:
Budgeted Amount – Job-to-date spent amount.

Project Currency Code
|
This column displays the three-character code for the project currency.
|
Billing Currency Code
|
This column displays the three-character code for the billing currency.
|
Functional Currency Code
|
This column displays the three-character code for the functional currency.
|
Revenue Type
|
This column displays the revenue type.
The revenue type is a code to identify how Vision calculates revenue for the task, phase, or project. Vision provides six standard revenue types:

If you use revenue generation and you have enabled tracking for multiple revenue categories on the Accounting Company Settings form, the list of columns includes one Revenue Type column for each revenue category. For example, if you track the Labor and Consultant revenue categories, the list includes a Labor Revenue Type column and a Consultant Revenue Type column.

Rev. Multiplier/Amount
|
This column displays the multiplier, percentage, or amount for the revenue method.
The report only displays a value in this column for the lowest work breakdown structure levels.

Rev. Multiplier/Amount (Sum)
|
This column displays the multiplier, percentage, or amount for the revenue method.
The difference between this column and the Rev. Multiplier/Amount column is that Vision treats this column as an amount column and displays group totals for it. This can be useful if you use calculated fields and want the revenue multiplier to be treated as an amount rather than as a multiplier.

Compensation
|
This column displays the monetary amount you expect to receive for labor.
These amounts come from the Project Info Center. If At all levels of the WBS is selected under Project Fee Entering Method on the Accounting System Settings form (), these amounts are only displayed for the work breakdown structure level at which they were entered. If you use grouping options that are not part of the work breakdown structure, this column will be blank for those groups.

Consultant Fee
|
This column displays the monetary amount you expect to receive for reimbursable consultant fees. This amount includes any markups on consultant professional services.
These amounts come from the Project Info Center. If At all levels of the WBS is selected under Project Fee Entering Method on the Accounting System Settings form (), these amounts are only displayed for the work breakdown structure level at which they were entered. If you use grouping options that are not part of the work breakdown structure, this column will be blank for those groups.

Reimbursable Allowance

This column displays the monetary amount you expect to receive for reimbursable expenses other than reimbursable consultant expenses.

Total Compensation

Backlog
|
This column displays the unearned monetary amount for work that is under contract. Vision calculates Backlog as follows:
Total Compensation – Job-to-date Revenue Amount
Backlog is used as an indicator of a firm's business volume, which is usually expressed as the number of months of backlog.

Percent Budget Expended
|
This column displays the percentage of the budget expended as of the current date. Vision calculates Percent Budget Expended as follows:

Percent Complete Reported
|
This column displays the overall percent complete. The percentage is based on cost or billing amounts, depending on your selection in Report At. Vision calculates this percentage based on your selection of budget source on the Budget tab of the Options dialog box and, if you select one of the planning budget sources, the percent complete formula specified for each of the project plans.

% Labor Comp. Rpt
|
This column displays the percent complete for labor. The percentage is based on cost or billing amounts, depending on your selection in Report At. Vision calculates this percentage based on your selection of budget source on the Budget tab of the Options dialog box and, if you select one of the planning budget sources, the percent complete formula specified for each of the project plans. Overhead is not included in these calculations.

This column displays the percent complete for expenses. The percentage is based on cost or billing amounts, depending on your selection in Report At. Percent ETC Expended
|
This column displays the estimate to complete amount expressed as a percentage of the budgeted amount. Vision calculates Percent ETC Expended as follows:

This column displays the net revenue amount. Vision calculates Net Revenue as follows:

Gross Margin
|
This column displays the gross margin amount. Vision calculates Gross Revenue as follows:
Revenue Amount – (Labor + Direct expenses + Reimbursable expenses)
Firms that do not allocate overhead show project results on a gross margin basis.

Real. Ratio/ Eff. Multiplier
|
This column displays the realization ratio or the effective multiplier.
If you generate the report at billing rates, it displays the realization ratio. The realization ratio is the net revenue earned for each labor dollar billed. Vision calculates the realization ratio as follows:
Net Revenue / Direct labor at billing rates
If you generate the report at cost rates, it displays the effective multiplier. The effective multiplier is the net revenue earned for each labor dollar expended. Vision calculates the effective multiplier as follows:

Spent Less Overhead
|
This column displays the amount spent, excluding overhead.
If you select Overhead in the Print group box on the General tab, the Spent Amount column includes overhead in the spent amounts. If you also want to see spent amounts excluding overhead on the same report, select this column for the report.

This column displays the project number.

Phase
|
This column displays the phase number.

Task
|
This column displays the task number.

Committed Purchase Order Expense
|
This column displays the expense amount committed to approved purchase orders.
To display data in this column, you must also select Committed Purchase Order Expenses on the General tab.

Contract Compensation
|
This column displays the compensation amount related to the contract.

Contract Consultant Fee
|
This column displays the expected amount of reimbursable consultant fees. This amount includes any markups on consultant professional services.

Contract Reimbursable Allowance

This column displays the reimbursable allowance amount related to the contract.

Contract Total Compensation
|
This column displays the sum of Contract Compensation, Contract Consultant Fee, and Contract Reimb Allowance amounts.

This column displays the total of Contract Total Compensation – JTD Revenue.

<revenue category> Unbilled
|
These columns display the unbilled revenue amount for the revenue category. For example, the Labor Unbilled column would display the amount of unbilled labor revenue.
