Use Batch Deletes to Delete Records

You can delete multiple records from hubs with a single batch process.

To delete a batch of records:

  1. In the Navigation pane, select Utilities > Updates > Batch Deletes.
  2. On the Batch Deletes form, select an application and click Delete Records.
  3. On the New Search dialog box, select the checkboxes of the records that you want to delete and click Apply Selected.
    Vantagepoint displays a message that asks if you want to schedule the process to run at a later time.

    You can also use the Advanced Search Settings to use criteria and operators to further refine your search. For more information, see New Search Dialog Box and Advanced Search Settings.

  4. Choose one of the following actions:
    • To schedule the process, click Yes and select settings on the Schedule dialog box. For more information on scheduling processes, see Scheduling Process Server Jobs.
    • To proceed with the deletion, click No. When Vantagepoint displays a confirmation prompt, click Yes to start the batch deletion process.
