Welcome to the Deltek Vantagepoint 4.5.10.5 Release Notes, which describe the new features and enhancements introduced in this release.

These release notes address all of the modules associated with Deltek Vantagepoint 4.5, some of which your firm may not use. Skip the sections that do not apply to your implementation of Deltek Vantagepoint.


Software Issues Resolved


Billing >> Interactive Billing


Defect 1748387: When you voided an invoice in Interactive Billing and then printed a credit memo for that invoice on the Invoice History tab, Vantagepoint tried to print the original invoice instead of the credit memo and displayed the following message: No data found for this invoice.

 



Defect 1764470: This issue applies if you use billing invoice approvals. The entry in the Invoice Status field on the General tab in Interactive Billing did not correctly match the entry in the Action field on the Draft Invoice Comments dialog box in Interactive Billing. This occurred when you did the following for an approved or rejected invoice:

  1. Modified billing terms in Interactive Billing, such as changing the invoice description on the General tab of the Interactive Billing form.

  2. Unsubmitted the invoice.

  3. Navigated away from Interactive Billing.


My Stuff >> Reporting


Defect 1714692: This issue applies to the AR Aged report. On the report's Options tab, if you selected a billing client in the Billing Client field and you selected the Retainer's Balance check box for the Display setting, the report did not display AR comments.


Settings >> Cash Management


Defect 1835613: In Settings » Cash Management » Credit Cards, when you edited an existing credit card and then copied or added an additional card, there were issues with assigning and deleting employees from the card. Specifically, when you attempted to delete an employee from one secondary credit card, Vantagepoint incorrectly deleted the same employee from another secondary credit card if that employee was also assigned to card.


Transaction Center >> AP Invoice Approvals


Defect 1812459: In AP Invoice Approvals, when you submitted, approved, rejected, or reassigned AP invoices for vendors with a large number of AP invoice records, the invoices took a long time to load and process.


Transaction Center >> Transaction Entry


Defect 1812458: This issue applies for labor adjustment and timesheet entries in Transaction Entry if you have the following options set to Yes in Settings > Accounting > Transactions:

In Transaction Entry, when you added a labor adjustment or timesheet and entered a date in the Date field in the Project Information grid that was outside the active fiscal year and period, you received the following error message: "Error row x: The date xxx is not in the current fiscal year. Error row x: the date xxx is not in the current accounting period."

Labor adjustments and timesheets should have been exempt from transaction date validation.
