UDT03

You can link UDT03s to UDT09s. Apart from this capability, the UDT03 field is of limited use.

You can use this field for the Department/Transaction code. It will be linked to UDT09 if you are using the "Direct Department" feature.

 

This field is the Labor Location/Local. You will use it only if employees need to change their Labor Location/Local code in the system or if reports using the Labor Location/Local code are required.

When do I use the UDT03 screen?

Use this tabbed screen to add, edit, delete, and link items for UDT03.

The UDT03 screen tabs

The tabs available in this screen are Basic Information and UDT09 Links.

Use the first tab to provide basic information on the item; use the other tab to add or delete links to the UDT09 table.  Please note that the link tab may be disabled if the system has been so configured. 

You cannot delete a UDT03 that is being used on a timesheet line, on an expense report, or on a wage schedule.
