Use the UDT01 Types screen to associate business rules with UDT01 codes. At the type level, you can specify the daily minimum and maximum hours. For example, for Holiday leave, you could specify a minimum of eight hours and a maximum of eight hours. This edit would require Holiday leave to be recorded in eight-hour increments.
The following account types are used in GCS Premier. They need to be added in Deltek Time so the UDT01 download can correctly download the type when selected to do so from the Master Table Options screen.
|
Costpoint also has account types. You must set up your UDT01 types in Deltek Time. You can set up additional leave types in Deltek Time for tracking purposes, if needed. |
Use this screen when you initialize Deltek Time\Expense\Self Service. You should set up the UDT01 types before you set up or import UDT01 information.
Enter a 10-character, uppercase alphanumeric UDT01 type code. Each UDT01 Type Code must be unique. Although this code does not display in other screens, you should assign a meaningful code because this field can be used in user-defined reports/inquiries.
Enter an UDT01 type description of up to 30 characters. Because they are used in drop-down boxes and as column headings for reports/inquiries, make descriptions as short as possible and properly capitalized. Each UDT01 type description must be unique.
Select the appropriate type for this UDT01. This will designate UDT01s of this type to be either for Deltek Time, Deltek Expense, or both. The possible options are "Time," "Expense," and "Both."
If you are licensed for Deltek Time only, the field will default to "Time" and will not be editable. If you are licensed for Deltek Expense only, the field will default to "Expense" and will not be editable. If you are licensed for both Deltek Time and Deltek Expense, the field will default to "Both," but you will be able to change the value if you wish.
Enter the minimum number of regular hours that can be charged to UDT01s assigned to this UDT01 type for any specific day on an employee's timesheet. For example, you could have the UDT01 type to which holiday charges are assigned require a minimum of eight hours per day.
