Use the Recurrence Codes screen to set up general scheduling criteria that will be used when setting up scheduled processes. You will use the recurrence code to identify how often the process should be run and on what days it should be run.
Use this screen to add, edit, and delete recurrence codes. You should set up recurrence codes before setting up scheduled processes.
Enter a 20-character, uppercase alphanumeric recurrence code. Each code must be unique.
Enter up to 30 characters for a recurrence code description. Make the descriptions as short as possible and properly capitalize them because they are used in drop-down boxes and as column headings for reports and inquiries.
Select this radio button if the recurrence pattern should occur on a daily basis.
Select this radio button if the recurrence pattern should occur on a weekly basis.
Select this radio button if the recurrence pattern should occur on a monthly basis.
This checkbox will display if the Recurrence Pattern selected is Daily. Select this checkbox if you wish the recurrence to run only on weekdays. This means that the process will not run on Saturday and Sunday.

Example: If you select "Monday" as the option, the process will be run each Monday, even if the Monday is a holiday.
This drop-down box will display if the Recurrence Pattern selected is "Monthly." Use the drop-down box to select the day of the month on which the process will be run. The valid values are 1 through 31.
Example: If you select "1" as the option, the process will be run the first day of each month, no matter what day of the week on which the first day falls.
