Leave

Use the Leave tab to maintain leave types that are tracked for this timesheet class. The tab consists of a non-editable table grid.

Type

This non-editable column displays the currently linked leave types.

Description

This non-editable column displays the currently linked leave type descriptions.

Min Balance (Error)

This non-editable column displays, in hours, the minimum balance allowed. An employee will receive an error message when saving his timesheet, if his available leave hours fall below this number.

Max Balance (Error)

This non-editable column displays, in hours, the maximum balance allowed. An employee will receive an error message when saving his timesheet, if his available leave hours exceed this number.

Min Balance (Warning)

This non-editable column displays, in hours, the minimum balance allowed. An employee will receive a warning message when saving his timesheet, if his available leave hours fall below this number.

Max Balance (Warning)

This non-editable column displays, in hours, the maximum balance allowed. An employee will receive a warning message when saving his timesheet, if his available leave hours exceed this number.

Add Leave

To add a leave type link to the timesheet class, select the Add Leave function.

Type

Use the Lookup pushbutton to the right of the field to select a leave type to link to the timesheet class. You can also enter the leave type manually.  

Description

The non-editable description will default after you select the leave type.

Error

Minimum Balance

Enter the number of hours that will be used as the minimum balance allowed. An employee will receive an error message when saving his timesheet if his available leave hours fall below this number. The default value is "0.0000."

Maximum Balance

Enter the number of hours that will be used as the maximum balance allowed. An employee will receive an error message when saving his timesheet if his available leave hours exceed this number. The default value is "999999.9999."

Warning

Minimum Balance

Enter the number of hours that will be used as the minimum balance allowed. An employee will receive a warning message when saving his timesheet if his available leave hours fall below this number. The default value is "0.0000."

Maximum Balance

Enter the number of hours that will be used as the maximum balance allowed. An employee will receive a warning message when saving his timesheet if his available leave hours exceed this number. The default value is "999999.9999."

OK

Select OK to add the leave type link to the database. The link will display in the Leave Type table.

Cancel

Select Cancel to close the dialog without adding the leave type.

Edit Leave

To edit a leave type, select the Edit Leave function.

Type

This non-editable field displays the current leave type.

Error

OK

Select OK to update the leave type link. The updated description will display in the Leave Type table.

Cancel

Select Cancel to close the dialog without changing the link.

Delete Leave

Select the leave type or types that you wish to delete by clicking on the button to the left of the row. Then select the Delete Leave function to delete the row(s)
