Options

Actual Hours

Select this radio button to base the inquiry on the actual hours that the employee(s) worked. See the documentation for the Results tab for details on calculating actual hours. This radio button is selected by default.

Standard Hours

Select this radio button to base the inquiry on the standard hours that the employee(s) worked. See the documentation for the Results tab for details on calculating standard hours.

By Group

Select this radio button to run the inquiry by timesheet group. This radio button is selected by default.

By Employee

Select this radio button to run the inquiry by employee.

Date Range

Start Date

Use the Calendar Lookup to select the starting date for this inquiry. The default value is the first date of the current month.

End Date

Use the Calendar Lookup to select the ending date for this inquiry. The default value is today's date.

Utilizations

This table contains all utilizations that have been set up in the Utilizations screen in Time Setup. You are limited to five values for selection. If there are five or fewer values available for selection, you have the option of selecting all of the values by checking the checkbox in the upper left corner of the table. If there are more than five utilizations set up, you can check up to five for each inquiry.

Groups/Employees

The information in this section is based on the choices made in the Options group box. If you selected the By Group radio button, this group box will be labeled "Groups." If you selected the By Employee radio button, this group box will be labeled "Employees."

Type

Use the drop-down box to select the employee group type that should be included in this inquiry. The table will contain all employee group types over which you have supervisor rights and for which your functional role allows you to view timesheets.

This drop-down box will be displayed only if you selected the By Group radio button in the Options group box.

Group Table

This table contains the employee groups that are linked to the employee group type selected in the Type drop-down box. To select an employee group, select the checkbox to the left of the row. To unselect an employee group, uncheck the box. You can select all of the employee groups by select the checkbox in the upper left corner of the Group table.

The employee Group table will be displayed only if you select the By Group radio button in the Options group box.

Add  Employees

Use the Add Employees function to add an employee to this inquiry. You can filter the selection by the employee's last name by entering the beginning letters of the last name.

The Add Employees function will be available only if you select By Employee radio button in the Options group box.

You can select all available employees by selecting the checkbox in the upper left corner of the table. To unselect all employees, uncheck the checkbox.

Delete Employees

To delete an employee from the inquiry, select the checkbox to the left of the row of the employee(s) that you want to delete. Then use the Delete Employees function to delete those employees from the inquiry.

Execute

Select the Execute pushbutton to load the Results tab with the employees that meet the selected criteria.  

If the system finds no employees that meet the criteria, it will display the following error message: "No results found."

If you selected no employee groups in the employee group filter (if you selected the By Group radio button in the Options group box), the system will display the following error message: "At least one Employee Group needs to be selected."

If you selected no utilizations in the utilization filter, the system will display the following error message: "At least one utilization description needs to be selected."

If you selected no employees in the employee filter (if you selected the By Employee radio button in the Options group box), the system will display the following error message: "At least one Employee needs to be selected."

Close

Select the Close pushbutton to close out of this screen and return the splash screen.
