Direct Deposit

The Direct Deposit screen(s) display(s) the employee's current account information (what already exists in the system), and/or pending account information ("pending" means that you have not yet run the Activate Pending Employee Bank Info utility in Costpoint).  Current information can display in either the Current Account Information table or in the Changes to Current Account Information table.  Pending information displays only in the Changes to Account Information table. (The pending accounts will replace the current accounts after you have run the Activate Pending Employee Bank Info utility in Costpoint.) The Current Account Information table and the Changes to Current Account Information table act as two different snapshots of your direct deposit information.

The main screen displays the Current Account Information table (showing current/existing account information) and/or the Changes to Current Account Information table (showing either pending account information or current/existing account information).  Both tables are non-editable.  You can view your direct deposit information, make updates to your existing account information by selecting the Update button, or make changes/additions to your existing or pending account information by selecting the Add button. (When employee updates are not allowed, the Update and Add buttons don't display.)

When do I use the Direct Deposit screen?

Use the Direct Deposit screen to view existing account information, update existing account information, or add new account information.  You can access this screens from the Menu and through the Life Events screen (when a life event change is in process).  The number of direct deposit accounts a user can have is determined by the ESS Company Settings screen in Costpoint.

Current Account Information

This table displays when there is current (existing) direct deposit account information entered in the system.  If there is no current account information, the table will not display.

If you have no current direct deposit records, the system will display the following message: "You have no direct deposit information on file."

Changes to Current Account Information

This table first displays account information that is pending (awaiting prenote).  If there is no pending account information in the system, the table will not display.

If you have no pending direct deposit records, the system will display the following message: "You have no direct deposit information on file."
