Direct Deposit

The Direct Deposit screen displays your current account information (what already exists in the system), and/or pending account information (information is pending if you have not executed the Activate Pending Employee Bank Info utility in Costpoint Payroll). Current information displays in either the Current Account Information table or in the Changes to Current Account Information table.  Pending information displays only in the Changes to Account Information table.  The Current Account Information table and the Changes to Current Account Information table provide different snapshots of your direct deposit information.  You can update existing account information or make changes/additions to accounts, depending on the table.  The pending accounts will replace the current accounts after you execute the Activate Pending Employee Bank Info utility in Costpoint Payroll.

When do I use the Direct Deposit screen?

Use this screen to view existing account information (Summary page), update existing account information (Update page), or add new account information (Add page). The number of direct deposit accounts you can have is determined by the ESS Company Settings screen in Costpoint.

You can access the Summary (main) page from either the menu or a life event option (when a life event change is in process).  This page displays the Current Account Information Table (showing current/existing account information) and/or the Changes to Current Account Information Table (showing either pending account information or current/existing account information).  Both tables are non-editable. Use this page to view your direct deposit information. Make updates to your existing account information by selecting the Update button or make changes/additions to your existing or pending account information by selecting the Add button. (If employee updates are not allowed, the Update and Add buttons will not appear.)
