Use this drop-down box to select a screen to which you want to apply the options in the General group box.
Select this checkbox if you would want the system to display the following message any time a negative balance is due to the employee: "Note: Negative numbers displayed indicate a "Cash Back" option."
Use the drop-down box to select the number of minutes that an employee will be allowed to have a screen open before being forced to log out. Typically, you will select fewer minutes for screens that display highly sensitive information, such as the Total Compensation/Benefits screen or the Paycheck screen.
Select an option from this drop-down box to enforce the formatting that you selected for telephone number and postal code in the General Options tab. Applicable screens include: Address/Telephone, Emergency Contacts, and Dependents/Beneficiaries.
The options are as follows:
No Edit — Enforces no formatting.
Soft Edit — If you select this option, the system will display a warning message when an incorrect phone or postal code format is entered on the screen. However, the format is not enforced, allowing the incorrect format to remain on the screen.
Hard Edit — If you select this option, the system will display an error message when an incorrect phone or postal code format is entered on the screen. The system enforces the phone and postal code formatting selections in the General Options tab and does not allow the user to proceed until the format entered on the screen is correct.
