This link tab displays a table of the current UDT09s linked items. Use the UDT03 Links tab to add, edit, or delete UDT03 links. Different column headings and data will display in the table, depending on whether you are using Direct or Wildcard links.
The number of linked items displayed is determined by the number supplied in the Max Table Rows drop-down box in the General Options tab of the General Configuration screen. If there are more linked items to be displayed, the More pushbutton will appear on the bottom of the screen.
This non-editable column displays the currently linked UDT03.
This non-editable column displays the currently linked UDT03 description.
Select the More pushbutton to display the next set of linked items. If you select linked items before selecting the More pushbutton, the system will display the following confirmation message: "Current selection of records will be lost. Do you want to continue?"
If you select Yes, the next set of linked items will display and the current selection will be cleared. If you select No, the current selection of linked items will remain.
This non-editable column displays the currently linked UDT09.
This non-editable column displays the currently linked wildcard UDT03.
This non-editable column displays the currently linked UDT03 description.
Select the More pushbutton to display the next set of linked items. If you select linked items before selecting the More pushbutton, the system will display the following confirmation message: "Current selection of records will be lost. Do you want to continue?"

Select the Add Link function to bring up the Add UDT03 Link dialog.
Use the Lookup pushbutton to the right of the field to select a UDT03 to link to the UDT09. You can also enter the UDT03 manually.
The description will be automatically populated after you select the UDT03. You can edit this field to make it specific for this link.
Select OK to add the UDT03 link to the database. The link will display in the UDT03 table.
Select Cancel to close the dialog without adding the link.
Select the Add Link function to bring up the Add UDT03 Wildcard Link dialog.
Enter the UDT09 that you want to link, including wildcard characters. For example, enter "%123" to include all UDT09s that end in 123. Select the Options pushbutton for more examples.
Use the Lookup pushbutton to the right of the field to select a UDT03 to link to the UDT09. You can also enter the UDT03 manually.

Select the UDT03 link that you wish to edit by clicking on the button to the left of the row. Then select the Edit Link function to bring up the appropriate dialog.
Select the Edit Link function to bring up the Edit UDT03 Link dialog.

Update the description for this link. This is the only field that you can update.
Select OK to update the UDT03 link. The updated description will display in the UDT03 table.
Select Cancel to close the dialog without changing the link.
Select the Edit Link function to bring up the Edit UDT03 Wildcard Link dialog.

This non-editable field displays the currently linked UDT03.

Select Cancel to close the dialog without changing the link.
Select the UDT03 link or links that you wish to delete by selecting the checkbox to the left of the row. To delete all of the links in the table, select the checkbox in the upper left corner of the table. This will select all of the rows. Then select the Delete Link function to delete the row(s).
