Use the Restrictions tab to specify the employee groups that are allowed to access the selected charge tree.
A graphical charge tree representation displays at the top of the screen as you drill down into a tree and its branches. Each level above the current level displays as a hyperlink in the graphical charge tree. Select any of these links to display the information at that level. You can view Restrictions at the Charge Branches and Charges level.
This non-editable column displays the employee group descriptions of the groups that are allowed to access the selected charge tree.
This non-editable column displays all the employee group codes of the groups that are allowed to access the selected charge tree.
Select the Add Employee Groups function to add an employee group to the selected charge tree. The employees within the group will have access to the charge tree.
When this screen initially displays, it will contain all employee groups that are not already displayed in the Restrictions tab.
Use the Filter feature to narrow down the number of employee groups for selection.
Enter the group description or partial description for the group you wish to display.
Select the Search pushbutton to re-populate the results table using the information you entered in the Group Description field as a filter. For example, if you enter "P" in the Group Description field and select Search, all groups not already associated with the charge tree whose description starts with "P" will be displayed. If you select the Search pushbutton with an empty Group Description field, all groups who are not already associated with the charge tree will be displayed.
The number of groups displayed is determined by the number supplied in the Max Table Rows in the General Options tab of the General Configuration screen. If there are more groups to be displayed, a More pushbutton will display on the bottom of the dialog.
Choose the groups that you wish to add to the Restrictions tab for the selected charge tree by selecting the checkbox to the left of the group's description. (You can select multiple groups.) Then select the Add to Charge Tree pushbutton. The Add Employee Groups dialog will remain until you select Close.
Select the Close pushbutton to return to the Restrictions tab. If you added groups to the charge tree, they will display in the table.
Select the More pushbutton to display the next set of groups. If you select groups before selecting the More pushbutton, the system will display the following message: "Current selection of records will be lost. Do you want to continue?"
If you select Yes, the next set of groups will display and the current selection will be cleared. If you select No, the current selection of groups will remain.
Choose the employee group or groups that you wish to delete by selecting the checkbox to the left of the row. Then select the Delete Employee Groups function to delete the row(s).
The system will display the following confirmation message: "Do you want to remove this group from lower level charge branches?"
If you select Yes, the application will remove the employee group from the charge tree level and all branch levels for the charge tree.
If you select No, the application will remove the employee group from just the charge tree level.
