Timesheet Title
The
timesheet title appears at the top of your screen, next to the Deltek
logo. Your name and company Identification Number appear in the timesheet
title.
Timesheet Header
The
timesheet header contains the following fields: Ending, Status, and Revision. Each field
is explained below.
Ending —
This read-only field displays the end date for the period of the timesheet
you have open.
Status —
This read-only field displays the timesheet status of the timesheet that
is currently open. The following may appear in the Status field:
O — The
timesheet is currently open.
S — The
timesheet has been signed.
A — The
timesheet has been approved.
P — The timesheet has been processed.
R — The timesheet has been rejected.
The
timesheet status is marked as Open if any of the following situations
occur:
A charge is added.
A charge is edited.
Hours are added.
Hours are edited.
A line is copied.
A line is deleted.
A comment is added.
A comment is deleted.
A line is reversed.
Missing — The timesheet status is marked as Missing
if no timesheet exists for the Ending date.
Closed —
The timesheet status is marked as Closed if the timesheet period has closed.
Revision — This read-only field displays the revision
number of the timesheet that is currently open.
The revision number for new timesheets
is displayed as “1”. These are timesheets that have not yet been saved.
The revision number is updated whenever
the timesheet is signed or saved.
Timesheet Grid
The
timesheet grid contains a Charge ID/Description and Date
grid
option as well as a Total field.
Each is explained below.
Charge ID/Description — From this grid, you can enter your charge
number and description of the charge.
Date —
This grid displays the date and day of the week. From this grid, you can
enter the number of hours worked for the corresponding charge ID/description.
You can enter hours manually or click the Enter
Hours on the menu if you have enabled
the option in User Options.
Background Color — The background color of the Date
column varies according to your work schedule. The following table lists
what each color of the Date column represents.
Active Field —
Deltek Marine Blue.
Inactive Field
— Inactive field and:
**** Non-Workday — Light
grey
**** Holiday — Yellow
**** Non-Workday — Green
**** Non-Workday — Green
**** Non-Workday — White
Grid View Options — You have two options for viewing the timesheet
view grid: three rows or six rows. To change your viewing preference,
click Change View on the menu.
Totals —
This field displays the sum of all hours entered for the day being viewed,
for both Regular and Overtime. This applies for all rows that are
NOT charging a Cost-Only pay type. This field recalculates automatically
when the number of hours in the Date column changes. Also, the number
displayed in this field is displayed in italics until the timesheet has
been saved.
