  • Use the Timesheet Summary screen to view timesheet entries for a selected timesheet period. If you are a supervisor, you can also approve and reject timesheets from the Timesheet Summary screen.

  • Use the Timesheet Summary Screen
  • To use the Timesheet Summary screen:
  • 1. Click Summary on the menu.
  • The Timesheet Summary screen initially displays with all the categories collapsed. From the menu, you can expand just a single category or all the categories.
  • 2. Choose from the following menu options:
  • Expand All — Expands all the timesheet categories
  • Collapse All — Collapses all open timesheet categories
  • Expand Section — Expands the currently selected category
  • Collapse Section — Collapses the currently selected category
  • First Timesheet — Opens the first timesheet in your search results (Supervisors only)
  • Previous Timesheet — Opens the previous timesheet in your search results (Supervisors only)
  • Last Timesheet — Opens the last timesheet in your search results (Supervisors only)
  • Approve Timesheet — Approves the currently selected timesheet (Supervisors only)
  • Reject Timesheet — Rejects the currently selected timesheet (Supervisors only)

  • Timesheet Summary Screen Fields
  • The following fields display in the Timesheet Summary screen. Scroll to the desired category and click the plus (+) sign to expand it, or click the minus (-) sign to collapse it.
  • Ending — Period ending date of the timesheet
  • Status — Status of the timesheet
  • Revision — Revision number of the timesheet
  • Regular — Total number of regular hours for the timesheet period
  • Overtime — Total number of overtime hours for the period (does not include Cost-only pay type hours)
  • Total — Combined total of regular and overtime hours
  • Charge Totals — Primary charges that were selected on the timesheet, including Charge ID/Description and associated hours
  • Pay Type Totals — Pay Types (for example, Overtime 1 or Holiday) selected on the timesheet that have hours charged against them
  • Daily Totals — Number of hours charged for each day in the timesheet period, for both regular and overtime hours
  • Weekly Totals — Total number hours charged per week of the timesheet period, for both regular and overtime hours (see examples)
  • Signatures — Person who signed the timesheet and when it was signed, and if approved, who approved it and when
  • Save/Sign Warnings — Warnings received by the employee when the timesheet was saved or signed
  • Revision History — Revisions made to the timesheet being viewed

  • Weekly Totals Examples
  • For Weekly Totals, a week always represents seven days. If the timesheet period ends or begins in the middle of a week, Deltek Mobile Time may include hours from outside the timesheet period to display a full week.
  • Examples:
  • Semi-Monthly — In this example, the workweek starts on Monday and the pay period runs from Monday March 1 through Monday March 15. To display the weekly (7 day) total for the week starting Monday March 15, Deltek Mobile Time includes data from Tuesday through Sunday of the next pay period.

  • Semi-Monthly — In this example,  the workweek starts on Sunday and the pay period runs from Monday, March 1 through Monday, March 15. To display the weekly (7 day) total for the week ending Saturday, March 6, Deltek Mobile Time retrieves data from the last day in previous pay period (February 28). Likewise, To display the weekly total for the week starting Sunday, March 14, it includes data from Tuesday through Saturday of the next pay period.

  • Bi-Weekly — In this example,  the workweek starts on Monday and the pay period runs from Friday, March 5 through Friday, March 19. To display the weekly (7 day) total for the week ending Friday, March 5, Deltek Mobile Time includes data from Monday through Thursday of the previous pay period.
