Integration Via Unionpoint Request Process Pre-Requisites

Complete these steps before you configure Talent Management for integration via Unionpoint.

Important:

You must have login credentials to access the necessary Deltek systems prior to performing these steps.

To complete the pre-requisites for Talent Management Integration Via Unionpoint

  1. For Talent Management-Vantagepoint integrations, the employee location codes in both Talent Management and Vantagepoint must exactly match. To ensure this, check the location codes in the following screens:
    Location Path
    Deltek Talent Management Check the Manage Locations screen (Administration > Global Settings > Your Organization > Locations).
    Deltek Vantagepoint Check the Lists screen (Settings > Labels and List Settings > Employee Location Settings).
  2. Refresh the sandbox or client site after you have updated the location codes.
  3. If necessary, use the Bulk User Upload utility on the Upload User File screen (Administration > Global Settings > Global Settings > Your Organization > Users > Upload User File) to correct employee location codes. Refresh the sandbox or client site again after updating the location codes.
  4. Enable and configure the Hire Type field:
    1. Navigate to the General section of the System Settings screen (Administration > Global Settings > System Administration > System Settings > General).
    2. Set Collect Hire Type to Yes, then click Update.
    3. Go to the Select Lists Management screen (Administration > Global Settings > Drop-down and Multi-Select Lists).
    4. In the Select Listing field, click and select Hire Type.
    5. Under Add drop down item Hire Type, configure the options to have the following EXACT values:
      • New Hire
      • Rehire
      • Transfer
