Contents of the Continuous Feedback Session Development Tab
Managers and employees use this tab to add a new Development Plan for the employee associated with the session. The creator of any development plans displayed on the tab also has access to other Actions, such as editing, copying and deleting the plan.

Field | Description |
---|---|
Created By | This is the name of the user who created the development plan. |
Create From Template | This is the template the plan is based on. When creating a plan, if no value is selected in this field the user will create the plan from scratch, and not from a template. The templates that display at the top of the list are those that match the logged in user's employee associations (job profile, location, group or role). This field is only visible if the Development Plan Templates feature is enabled for your group. Development Plan Templates are created by Administrators. |
Plan Name | This is the name that the plan creator gave the plan (for example, Observation and Feedback Skills). Click this name to see details about the plan, including all of the courses and other activities in the plan. |
Completion |
This is a percentage representing how much of the plan you have completed to date, as determined by the number of plan items that you have completed. If you add a new item to the development plan, the overall completion percentage may change. |
Plan Type |
This is the reason for the development plan:

Date Created | The date the template was created. |
Last Modified | The last time changes were saved to the template. |
Modified By | The username of the last user to modify the template. |
Start Date | This is the date on which you are supposed to begin performing the tasks in the development plan. |
Target Date | This is the date on which you are supposed to finish performing the tasks in the development plan. If your plan is based on a template, this field is populated with the latest date entered in the Goal End Date fields for individual template plan items. |
Status | This is your progress in accomplishing the plan: Not Started, Started, In Progress, Overdue, or Completed. |

Add Development Plan | Click this button to create a new development plan for yourself if you are the employee associated with the session, or for your direct report, if you are the manager associated with the session. |
Activate/Deactivate/Cannot Update Own Plan |
Click this icon to activate or deactivate a development plan. An open lock means that the development plan is active and the employee is expected to complete it. A closed lock means that it is inactive and the employee is not expected to complete it. You cannot add new items to an inactive plan. Employee's can only deactivate plans created by the employee. Only an employee's manager can deactivate an employee's plan created by the manager. No plan with a Status of Completed can be deactivated. |
Click this icon to print a copy of the development plan. | |
New Plan Item | Click this icon to add a training course or other activity to the development plan to address any deficiencies in the employee's competencies or skill level that would prevent the employee from moving to the next job in the active career path. |
Edit | Managers and the employee who created the plan can click this icon to edit the Plan Name, Plan Type, Start Date, or End Date for the plan. |
Copy | Click this icon to apply this development plan to any of your direct reports. You can also choose to apply only some elements of the plan to your direct reports. This option is not available for your own plan. |
Delete | Managers and the employee who created the plan can click this icon to delete the development plan. |
