New Features and Enhancements

This section provides a summary of all new general features and enhancements included in this release.
 

Core Framework

Automatic Population of Country Prefix Codes in Global Settings

Country Prefix Codes in Administration > Global Settings > Drop-down and Multi-select Lists > Countries is now automatically populated with ISO phone prefixes for all standard countries during deployment. This ensures mandatory fields are pre-filled, reducing the time clients spend manually entering values. This enhancement applies to both new and existing customers, but existing client-entered prefixes will remain unchanged.

Standardized The From Address for Deltek Talent Management Emails

All outbound emails from Deltek Talent Management now use the standardized “From” address noreply@dtm.mydeltek.com. This includes Deltek Talent Management, the Deltek Talent Management Reporting Tool, and Integrations. This update ensures consistent email branding, supports compliance with organizational policies, and improves system reliability.

System Changes

The following email settings have been updated to use the new address:

  • email_from
  • system_notification_sender
  • letter_email_from
  • interview_schedule_email_from
  • pdfbatch_email_from
  • ats_new_vendor_user_mail_from
  • js_deletion_inactive_reply_email

All seven settings listed above remain visible in the system. You can modify the prefix of the address for any of the seven settings (<custom value>@dtm.mydeltek.com), however any value submitted that does not use the standard domain will return an error on form submission.

Hardcoded Changes

Hardcoded fallback addresses have been replaced in:

  • /base/core_class/notification.core.class.php:39
  • /base/core_class/notification_delivery_plugin.email.core.class.php:39
  • Administrative Interface Updates

SOA and Integrations Changes

  • Token Expiry (Regular/Master): Notifies clients that their API tokens have expired.
  • Export Control Report: Contains details/logs of the export run (e.g., new hires export).
  • Import Control Report: Contains details/logs of the import run (e.g., user import).

The "From" email change affects the email used to send the following notices to the Deltek Integrations team:

  • Deployer HRIS
  • Email Alerts
  • Cron Report
  • Curl Error Report
  • Missing Distribution List
  • HRSmart Transaction Report

Recruiting

Removal of Text Message Data for Inactive Job Seekers

To comply with data privacy regulations, Deltek Talent Management now replaces the cell phone number associated with inactive Job Seekers (JS) in text message records with the standard "PII REMOVED" string. This applies to both inbound and outbound text messages stored in the system. Administrators and configurators will use this functionality during the deletion of inactive JS data.

This change applies to inactive job seekers who have been made inactive through all available methods in Deltek Talent Management, including:

  • The Allow Account Deletion feature and associated Data Privacy Settings and Job Seeker Account Deletion (By Country) System Settings.
  • Job seekers made inactive through the Suggest Deletion process

This ensures consistent handling of inactive job seekers across all deactivation and deletion workflows.


Learning

Performance Improvement on Classes Page

We have introduced an update to improve performance and usability for classes with large enrollments:

What Changed
  • The Class Enrollment page, as well as the Student and Instructor Class Profiles, will now suppress the display of the class roster when more than 50 students are enrolled.
  • When the roster is suppressed, a link will be provided on the page to access the full roster on a separate page.
Why This Change Matters
  • It prevents pages from timing out when loading large class rosters.
  • It ensures smooth enrollment and management for classes with large numbers of students, such as e-learning sessions.

Reporting Tool

Upgrade SimpleSaml Library to Version 2.X

To increase security, we have upgraded the SimpleSaml library to 2.X.

Core Framework

Single Quote Caused Page Crash

Deltek Tracking Number: 2197101
Description: When you accessed the requisition Notes or Transaction Log that contained text entered before version 18.0, the page crashed if the requisition status comment contained a single quote. 

Ampersands Displayed Incorrectly

Deltek Tracking Number: 2184613
Description: When you viewed the Job Profiles page, ampersands appeared as &amp;.

Quick Search Hidden If Employees is Only Quick Search Enabled

Deltek Tracking Number: 2110260
Description: When you enabled only the Quick Search: Employees feature and no other Quick Search features (For example. Course Search, Mentoring, or Search Jobs), the Quick Search function at the top of the interface was hidden. To display, the function required at least one additional Quick Search feature to be enabled.

Endorsed Skills Not Highlighted

Deltek Tracking Number: 2209073
Description: Colored highlighting for endorsed skills was missing from the display.

Future Dated Rehires Missing in View Offboarded Users

Deltek Tracking Number: 2332982
Description: When a terminated user was rehired in the Total Talent Profile and the rehire date was set in the future, the user was removed from the View Offboarded Users page even though the rehire date had not yet taken effect.

Original Hire Date Incorrect

Description: The original hire date for rehired users was incorrectly set to the rehire date.

Learning

Users could not Enroll as Remote Users

Defect Tracking Number: 2249361
Description: When you enrolled for a course, you were automatically transferred to onsite even though you selected remote.

Performance

Appraisal Print Configuration Crashed

Deltek Tracking Number: 2075894
Description: When you accessed Print Configuration in Admin > Performance > Appraisal, the page crashed.

My Matrix Employees Error Displayed

Deltek Tracking Number: 2410433
Description:When you accessed the My Matrix Employees page without any matrix reports, an error displayed instead of text indicating that you have no matrix employees.

Goals Duplicated Erroneously

Deltek Tracking Number: 2384272
Description: When you clicked Save Changes while adding new goals in an appraisal, multiple duplicate goals were created.

Appraisals did not Update with New Job Titles

Deltek Tracking Number: 2312886
Description: When an employee assumed a new position with a new job title, the updated job title was not reflected in appraisals.

Approvals Required Two Managers

Deltek Tracking Number: 2406347
Description: When you launched an appraisal for an employee who had recently been assigned a new title and new manager, the former manager's approval was still required.
