Edit the Total Talent Profile
You may have access to edit details on your profile's Preferences tab, and if your organization uses Core HR, depending on permissions, you may be able to edit the Personal and Contact Details tab, Employment Details tab, and the Custom Tab (Additional Information by default).
Users are granted access to fields beyond those on the Preferences tab by Core HR Administrators. This applies only to organizations that have licensed the Core HR module. From Self-Service Administration, administrators can specify different sections of the Personal and Contact Details tab, the Employment Details tab, and the Custom tab (Called Additional Information by default) where managers and Human Resource Business Partners can edit information pertaining to their direct reports. Administrators can also specify which sections employees can edit on their own profiles.
- Preferences Tab: If you have access to the Preferences tab, you can edit details on this tab including details about location preferences, relocation options and job details such as travel availability. Managers cannot edit your preferences.
- As an Employee: If your organization uses Core HR, Core HR administrators can grant access to edit certain sections of the About Me Pane, Employment Details tab, Personal & Contact Details tab, and Custom Tabs. An edit icon
displays next to all editable fields.
Click the edit icon and make changes. Changes are saved automatically. Depending on how Employee editing has been configured, certain parties may receive notifications when changes are made and approvals may be required before changes are final. You can also click the Actions menu at the top of the screen and select Edit to enable all editable fields at once. Make changes and click the Save link at the top of the screen to save all changes.
- As a Manager or Human Resources Business Partner: If your organization uses Core HR, Core HR administrators can grant Managers and/or Human Resource Business Partners access to edit certain sections of the About Me Pane, Employment Details tab, Personal & Contact Information tab, and Custom Tabs of a direct report's Total Talent Profile. You access your reports' profiles from the My Employees tab. An edit icon
displays next to all editable fields on the Total Talent Profile.

Users with appropriate permissions can edit an employee’s first, middle, and last name, and if the Pronouns feature is enabled, select preferred pronouns.
