Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Use the User ID as Filter Criteria

When running reports, you can restrict the reports users receive or generate to data corresponding to their own user ID.

To do so, select one of the following user references fields as filters and as column categories:

  • User ID: The Talent Management User ID of the user who receives or views a report.
  • User Name: The actual name of the current user, which displays in "Last Name, First Name" format.
  • Email: The email address of the user.
  • User Login: The login name of the user.

    Additionally, you can use identifying recipient data such as Current User's Remote ID and Current User's Email Address as filter types. When used as prompted, available recipient ID options appear as drop-down selections.
