Total Talent Profile and Core HR

Organizations that have licensed the CoreHR module have the opportunity to enable additional actions and features in the Total Talent Profile such as editing, viewing history, viewing status of requested changes, enabling an area of expertise feature, and adding fields to allow users to select their preferred pronouns.

The following actions and features are available or can be enabled for the Total Talent Profile, if your organization has licensed the Core HR module.

Action/Feature Description
Editing Certain Fields Core HR administrators configure what content employees can edit on their own Total Talent Profiles through Self-Service administration. They also determine what managers and/or HRBP users can edit on the profiles of their direct reports or associated employees. Additionally, administrators can set up notification or approval processes for any edits made to a profile.
Viewing History on Certain Fields History of changes made is tracked for fields with Effective Dating functionality. Click any History icon History to view history of that field.
Employment Details Tab Core HR Administrators can use the History Tab to view the history of changes made on the About Me pane, Employment details tab, Personal & Contact Details tabs, and Custom tab (Additional Information by default).
Additional Information Tab Core HR Administrators can enable the Total Talent Profile Additional Information feature for your group and grant access to this tab. This tab will display custom field information configured by a Core HR Administrator.
History Tab Core HR Administrators can enable the Work History feature for your group. Typically Core HR Administrators use the History Tab to view history of changes made on the About Me pane, Employment details tab, Personal & Contact Details tabs, and Custom tab (Additional Information by default).
Self-Service Tab The Self-Service tab shows changes that were rejected or are pending approval. In addition to the Core HR being licensed, to see this tab the Core HR administrator must grant Edit access to your user group (Employee, Manager, or HRBP) via Self-Service Administration.
Areas of Expertise Feature When enabled for your company, this feature allows users with proper permissions to add information, such as key skills, beneath their name in the Total Talent Profile. Groups can also be given rights to view the skills of other employees. This feature and these options are enabled under CoreHR » Total Talent Profile » General, and in Self-Service administration.

To do this, click the Edit icon to enable the editable field. Enter up to 80 characters of text.

Pronouns Feature If the Pronouns feature is enabled for your group (under CoreHR » Total Talent Profile » General), employees can select preferred pronouns.

To do this click the Edit icon next to your name and select the preferred pronoun in the Employee Details dialog. Administrators can modify the default list of pronouns on the Pronouns Multi-select list.
