Total Talent Profile Tabs
The Total Talent Profile contains an About me pane and up to 11 additional tabs, depending on what modules you have licensed, and what features are enabled.
Every Total Talent Profile has an About Me pane, across the top of the profile. View a photo of the employee and key details about the selected employee, such as employee number, job title, manager, contact information, and a View Résumé button. The options that you see depend on your permissions and whether or not your company has licensed the Core HR module.

Tab | Description |
---|---|
Personal & Contact Details | Depending on permissions, view and/or edit personal information, such as birth date, ethnicity, citizenship information and contact details for an employee. |
Employment Details | Depending on permissions, and If the Core HR module is licensed, view employee details related to the job, including Organization name, compensation information, and hiring and termination information. |
Additional Information | If the Core HR module is licensed, an administrator can enable the Total Talent Profile Additional Information feature for your group and grant access to this tab. This tab displays custom field information configured by a Core HR Administrator. |
Performance | These users configure which sections of the Total Talent Profile each user group can view and which fields a group can edit, based on the group to which the logged-in user belongs, and the relationship to the user whose profile is being viewed. For CoreHR users, edit rights are granted on the Self-Service Administration screen. |
Development | If you belong to multiple groups, there is a hierarchy, from Employee at the bottom of the permission pyramid to the Administrator at the top. If you belong to the Administrator group, for example, the view and access rights of this group override the view and access rights for all other groups to which you belong. The one exception is that when you view your own profile, your access rights are limited to those defined for the Employee group. |
Learning | Use this tab to view up to eight sections of information related to Learning: Education History, Learning Paths, Certifications, Certification History, Courses & Course History, External Training Summary, Watch/Waiting List, and Current Recommendations. This tab and the Education History section display for all users. The other sections display based on options selected on the Learning Profile screen. For each section up to five rows of data will display. For example up to five courses.
To see a full list of all Learning activities, click the View All Learning button. |
Benefits |
Depending on permissions and how the job offer for this employee was issued, the Benefits tab displays the benefits for the selected employee (as defined in the offer issued for their current position). |
Preferences | If the Preferences tab is enabled for you, you can edit your own relocation preferences and view other employees' preferences. |
History | If the Core HR module is licensed, an administrator can enable the Work History feature for your group to make this tab visible. Typically Core HR Administrators use the History Tab to view history of changes made on the About Me pane, Employment details tab, Personal & Contact Details tabs, and Custom tab (Additional Information by default).history of changes made on the About Me pane, Employment details tab, Personal & Contact Details tabs, and Custom tab (Additional Information by default). |
Self-Service | The Self-Service tab shows changes rejected or those pending approval. This tab displays if the Core HR module is licensed and the Core HR administrator has granted Edit access to members of the Employee, Manager, or HRBP groups via Self-Service Administration. |
Employee File | Core HR Administrators with the Employee File feature enabled use the tab to store digital copies of employee information. Those with Edit rights can add, delete, and download documents on this tab. Others may have View rights only. |

What you can view and do depends on your role and permissions, and whether the feature that controls a section is enabled for your role. - Development Tab
Use this tab to view up to six sections of information related to employee development: Competencies & Skills, Development Plans, Project Teams, Career Paths, Succession Plans, and Mentoring. This tab displays when your organization enables one of the following Development features (Development, Development Plans, Competency Profile, or Skills Profile). What you can view and do on this tab depends on your role and permissions, and whether the feature that controls a section is enabled. - Learning Tab
Use this tab to view up to eight sections of information related to Learning: Education History, Learning Paths, Certifications, Certification History, Courses & Course History, External Training Summary, Watch/Waiting List, and Current Recommendations.
