Reassign an Appraisal
Managers can reassign a direct report’s appraisal to another manager if they feel that someone else is better suited to rate the employee from My Employees. Administrators can reassign appraisals in bulk from Appraisal Administration.
Administrators
To reassign a bulk of appraisals:
- Click Administration » Appraisal Administration.
- On the Appraisal Administration screen, click the Reassign Appraisals button.
- Use Filter options at the top of the screen to choose appraisals to reassign.
- Click Search Employee and select employees to be assigned these appraisals.
- When finished, click Reassign.
Administrators can also reassign a single appraisal on this screen. To do this, find the appraisal to reassign in the list. You may need to click the arrow next to a name to expand the list of appraisals. Click the Reassign icon in the Actions menu for this appraisal.
Managers
To reassign an appraisal to another manager for appraisal purposes:
- Click MY EMPLOYEES » My Employees.
- On My Employee screen, find the employee and the appraisal to reassign. You may have to click the Expand at the bottom of the employee's section.
- Click the Actions menu and select Reassign.
- ClickSelect under New Manager.
- When finished, click Submit.
Note: Reassigning an appraisal in the Review phase does not change appraisal scores. For example, if Laura Lopez enters ratings, then the appraisal is reassigned to Jason Marcus, Jason does not need to rate the employee. Laura’s scores remain in place and are identified as belonging to her.
