Contents of the Manage Learning Paths Screen
The Manage Learning Paths screen displays the following columns actions.
Columns
Column | Description |
Learning Path | This is the learning path name. Click it to see the Learning Path Profile, which includes a description of the learning path and all of the courses it includes. |
Learning Path Owner | When you create a learning path, you can assign it an owner, who is the employee for the learning path. Your choice displays here.
Click the employee name to see the employee’s Total Talent Profile. |
Company/Division | This is the specific organizational unit, such as a company or division, with which the learning path is associated. |
Job Family | This is the job family or families (for example, Administration or Sales) with which the learning path is associated. The job family is Global if the class is for all employees, enterprise-wide. |
Locations Management | This is the location or locations where the learning path will be used. |
Job Role | This is the job role or roles (for example, Manager or Vice President) with which the learning path is associated. |
Job Title | This is the job title or titles (for example, Contracts Manager or Receptionist) with which the learning path is associated. |
Require Manager Approval for Enrollment | This column indicates whether or not employees must receive approval from their manager to enroll in this learning path. If the employee tries to enroll, an email is sent to the employee’s manager, asking for the enrollment to be approved or denied in Deltek Talent Management |
May Be Retaken | This column indicates whether or not the learning path can be retaken. |
Description | This is a description of the learning path. |
Courses | This is the number of courses in the learning path. Click the number to see a list of the courses by name. From this list, you can add courses to the learning path or delete existing courses. |
Status | This column indicates which of the following states the learning path currently falls under:

Actions | Click for a list of actions that can be taken for each item in the table. |
Actions
The buttons and icons on the Manage Learning Paths screen perform the following functions.
Icon/Button | Action | Description |
Create New Learning Path | Click this button to display the Add Learning Path screen, where you can create a new learning path | |
Mark as New Hire Orientation Learning Path | Click this icon to indicate that the learning path should be part of your company’s new hire orientation process.
When a new hire is made, the recruiter or hiring manager can enroll the new employee in the New Hire Learning Path during the Onboarding process. |

Send Email | Click this icon to open an email in your default email program, addressed to the learning path owner. | |
Edit | Click this icon to edit general information about the learning path, such as the learning path owner’s name and the learning path description. | |
Clone Learning Path | Click this icon to clone this learning path. | |
Add a Course | Click this icon to add a course to the learning path. | |
Delete | Click this icon to delete the entire learning path. You can delete a learning path only if there are no courses or active classes associated with the learning path. | |
Unable to Delete | This icon displays if there are courses or active classes associated with the learning path, meaning that you can’t delete it. |
