Skills Tab
View and manage a list of skills that are part of the appraisal.

This category lists any skills that are part of the appraisal. Otherwise, there will be an option to Manage Skills. NOTE: If the Workflow does not allow additions to this category, the option to manage skills will not appear.
The appraisal administrator determines which skills are evaluated in an employee appraisal, and those skills display on this tab. If Skills were added at the Workflow level, there will be individual skills displayed. Depending on permissions, an option to Manage Skills allows skills to be added to the appraisal on this tab.
The employee is evaluated based on how well he or she demonstrates these goals during the evaluation period.
Under the Skill Category heading is a list of skills with the following details.
| Field | Description |

| Skill Name | The skill name. Depending on permissions you may see a weight as a percentage next to the name. |

| General Appraisal Notes | Notes added as journal entries for this skill. Click Add Journal Entry to add a note for this skill. |

| Collapse All Notes | Click this button to toggle between viewing all notes for each skill and viewing the skill name only. |

| Manage Skills | Click this button to open a modal where you can select skills to add to the appraisal. Depending on permissions and the way the appraisal's workflow is configured, you may not see this option. |

Depending on permissions and the configuration of the workflow on which an appraisal is based, managers and/or employees can add skills within an appraisal.
