Follow this procedure to configure Microsoft Project for automation in DCOM.
To configure Microsoft Project for automation in DCOM:
Log onto the Server Console as the Domain Account running the Process Server service.
Launch a CMD prompt as an Administrator, or at the Run prompt type mmc to launch the Microsoft Management Console.
Click File and select Add/Remove Snap-in….
Select Component Services and click Add.
Click OK.
In the left pane, click on Component Services.
Under Component Services, select Computers » My Computer » DCOM Config.
Right-click Microsoft Project Basic and select Properties.
On the Security tab, click each of the following sections to configure the required permissions.
On the Identity tab, enable The launching user in the Which account do you want to use to run this application? section.
Click OK to close the Microsoft Project Basic Properties dialog box.
Exit the Microsoft Management Console.
Click No when prompted to save the settings.
Restart the machine.
