Use the Recall button on the Enter Schedule Progress form to recall a previously submitted schedule progress entry that has not yet been approved.
When you (an Assignee or a Progress Admin) click the Recall button, the status of the schedule progress entry reverts from In Approval back to Active, and the schedule progress entry is assigned to the original assignee. Then, you can resubmit the schedule progress entry.
Schedule progress entries that have been approved are not available for recall. In this scenario, you need to generate a second cost progress entry manually for the same work with the updated information.
If you are a progress approver, it is possible for progress already in the Approve Progress view to be recalled by a different user. If you try to approve progress that has been recalled, you will receive a message that the progress has been recalled. Recalled progress entries will not be approved.
If you are using the No Approval progress workflow type, Recall is not an option.
To recall schedule progress:
On the Navigation menu, click Projects » Projects.
On the Projects form, select a schedule project.
On the Projects Form toolbar, click Enter Progress.
On the Enter Schedule Progress form, select one or more rows with a status of submitted to recall, and click the Recall button.
If you click the Recall button without making a valid selection, PM Compass displays the following message: “There are no eligible records selected for this action.”
If you select multiple rows to recall, and one or more rows did not meet the criteria for recall, PM Compass displays the following message: “You have selected one or more progress entries for Recall which have not yet been submitted for Approval. Only entries which have been submitted will be recalled.”
