Use the Recall button on the Enter Cost Progress form to recall a previously submitted cost progress entry that has not yet been approved.
When you (an Assignee or a Progress Admin) click the Recall button, the status of the cost progress entry reverts from In Approval to Active, and the cost progress entry is assigned to the original assignee.
When a cost progress entry is recalled, all data is retained, including previous updates. Then, you can make the updates and resubmit the cost progress entry.
Cost progress entries that have been approved are not available for recall. In this scenario, you need to generate a second cost progress entry manually for the same work with the updated information.
If you are using the No Approval workflow type, Recall is not an option.
Since changes to the forecast are saved to the Cobra live project immediately (they are not approved), recall does not affect changes to the forecast in Enter Cost Progress.
To recall cost progress:
On the Navigation menu, click Projects » Projects.
On the Projects form, select a project.
On the Projects Form toolbar, click Enter Progress.
On the Enter Cost Progress form, select one or more rows with a status of submitted to recall, and click the Recall button.
If you click the Recall button without making a valid selection, PM Compass displays the following message: “There are no eligible records selected for this action.”
If you select multiple rows to recall, and one or more rows did not meet the criteria for recall, PM Compass displays the following message: “You have selected one or more progress entries for Recall which have not yet been submitted for Approval. Only entries which have been submitted will be recalled.”
