The Details Grid Preview dialog box displays when you click the Preview Details Table button from the Cost Details on Form tab of the Workflow Type Configuration form.
The name of the grid depends on the Details Table Name you entered and the columns depend on the options you select in Details in Table, Results in Table and Cost Sets in Table as well as the selections you make in the Show Additional Cost Set group box. Calculations are not included in the preview grid and the feature is not available for Explanation of Variances.
The location of the calculated column group changes based on whether the selected cost set or the change class is a replacement. For more information about the columns, as well as how this grid is populated, see How the Cost Details Grid is Populated.
The original columns (1st column group) display the cost set description. For example, if you select BCWS in the Cost Sets in Table grid, the original column group displays Budget HOURS, Budget DIRECT, and Budget Total Cost.
If you select the Allow Selection of Additional Cost Set in Workflow option on the Cost Details on Form tab, the second column group displays <Selected Cost Set> and a Select Cost Set button is added to the grid. When you create the workflow, the title <Selected Cost Set> is replaced with the description of the cost set you select in the workflow form.
If you select the Include Cost Set from Change Details option on the Cost Details on Form tab, the second column group displays <Change Cost Set>. When you create the workflow, the title <Change Cost Set> is replaced with the description of the change class selected on the Change Details on Form tab in Workflow Type Configuration.
If you select the Include Cost Set from Change Details option and you enter text in the Override Cost Set Name using field, the second column group displays that text. In the example below, My Cost Set is the text that was entered in the Override Cost Set Name using field.
