Use the Universal Document Control Bulk Publish feature to publish multiple unmanaged documents from mapped network folders to project document pools, with automated folder-to-pool matching for streamlined document organization.
Prerequisites:
To perform this task, you require the Udc.BulkPublish entity function role. Additionally, ensure the network folders you want to publish from are mapped to projects in
PIM. For information, see
Map a Network Folder to a Project.
To bulk publish documents from a network folder to
PIM:
-
On the header bar, click
Admin.
-
In the
Search Admin Zones field at the top, enter
Unmanaged Sources.
-
Click the
Unmanaged Sources link that displays.
-
On the Unmanaged Sources screen, click
Edit for the source that you want to manage.
If you have recently added an unmanaged source, and it is not displayed, click

to update the list.
Note: If the traffic light icon to the left of the source that you want to manage is not green, it means there is an issue with the network source. You can click or hover over the icon to view more details.
-
On the Configure Unmanaged Source screen, apply any filters as needed. For example, you can filter to display only mapped folders or folders with a specific match rating.
-
Click

-
On the Bulk Publishing Folder Predictions window, select each folder that you want to publish documents from.
For each folder, a suggested pool for publishing to is provided, with a match rating from 1 to 5. Folders without a specific match inherit the suggestions of their parent folder. For information on match ratings, see Universal Document Control Bulk Publish Folder Matching.
-
