Synchronize your PIM Contacts with Outlook

You can add your PIM contacts to your Outlook address book. This allows you to access contact information via a mobile device when you are out of the office. If a contact already exists, but their information has changed in PIM, the contact is updated in Outlook.

You must have the Deltek PIM Outlook Add-in installed and enabled.

To synchronize your PIM contacts with Outlook:

  1. In Outlook, click Sync Contacts on the toolbar.
  2. Under Options, select or deselect the contact types that you want to synchronize with Outlook. The following options are available:
    Option Description
    All contacts in your live Projects Select this option to synchronize all internal and external contacts for all live projects that you are currently linked to.
    All contacts in your live Enquiries Select this option to synchronize all internal and external contacts for all live enquiries that you are currently linked to.
    All contacts you are associated with Select this option to synchronize all contacts that are listed under Associated Internal Contacts in your contact record, such as your line manager, and any direct reports.
    Related document contacts Select this option to synchronize all contacts that have been linked to documents and emails that you have been associated with in the last 60 days.
    All internal contacts Select this option to synchronize all internal contacts for all branches of your organization.
  3. Optional: Under Favorites, select any contacts or records that you have added as favorites, such as projects and organizations.
    You can view your favorite contacts and records in the Favorites dashpart in the Personal Zone.
  4. Click Sync.
