Actions in Tree Tables
Tree tables feature an action toolbar that allows users to move lines up/down, and outdent/indent them.
One limitation is that users cannot easily move a sub-line from one parent line to another. Drag-and-drop functionality is not supported. You will have to use the four actions in combination to move a sub-line under a different parent line.
The toolbar contains the following actions:
Button | Description |
---|---|
Click this action to move the current line above the previous line in the table. When you perform this action on a parent line, iAccess moves the related sub-lines along with that parent line. The parent and its sub-lines also skip over any intervening sub-lines. When you perform this action on a sum line with no sub-lines, that sum line also skips over any intervening sub-lines. |

Click this action to move the current line below the next line in the table. When you perform this action on a parent line, iAccess moves the related sub-lines along with that parent line. The parent and its sub-lines also skip over any intervening sub-lines. When you perform this action on a sum line with no sub-lines, that sum line also skips over any intervening sub-lines. |
|
Click this action to outdent the current sub-line, and remove it from under its parent line. Clicking this action takes the sub-line out of its current hierarchy, and converts it into a normal line. |
|
Click this action to indent the current line, and make it a sub-line of the parent line immediately above it. |
