Approve or Reject an Absence Request

Use these steps to approve or reject an absence request.

To approve or reject an absence request:

  1. Open the Absence Approval workspace from the Approvals menu in iAccess.
  2. Select an absence request for approval from the filter list, or from the list of notifications in the top right corner.
  3. To approve the request:
    1. From the Other Actions drop-down list, select Approve.
  4. To reject the request:
    1. From the Other Actions drop-down list, select Reject. iAccess displays the Reject Absence Request wizard.
    2. Enter a rejection reason. This is a required field.
    3. Click Reject.
