Other Important GovWin Capture Management Numbers

In addition to the main components that you use to create your work breakdown structure, you must establish a structure for other important numbers or codes used throughout GovWin Capture Management.

Number	Description
Customer	Customers are the companies for which you complete your contracts. Customer numbers are numbers associated with customers in GovWin Capture Management.
Opportunity	An opportunity record stores information about potential contracts, including names, addresses, phone numbers, related activities and files, current opportunity status, opportunity team members, contract codes, and opportunity contacts.
Employee	Employees are those people at your firm who complete the work on a contract. Each employee must have an employee number.
Unit	Units are goods or services that are billed at the same rate for most or all of your contracts.
Unit Table	Unit tables are groupings of units that apply to specific contracts. Unit tables are established on a contract-by-contract basis.
Vendor/Partner	Vendor/Partners are the people or businesses from whom your company acquires the materials and services needed to complete contracts. If you use vendor/partners with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Proposals, the term "vendor/partner" may be used to represent someone who does work for you, such as a contractor or consultant.
