Opportunity List Columns Tab

Use the Columns tab to select the columns to display on the Opportunity List report, change column sequence, provide new column labels, set column widths, or select number and date formats.

Grid Type Columns

Most available columns display data from the Opportunity Info Center. In addition, you can use this tab to include columns that contain associated data. These are called "grid columns."

The list of columns in this topic includes all available grid columns. However, the grid columns that actually display on the Columns tab vary based on your selection in Grid Type on the General tab of the Options dialog box. The grid column labels begin with the grid type. For example, each of the contact grid column labels begins with Contacts - (Contacts - Name, Contacts - Title, and so on).

The following are the columns listed in the Column Name field in the grid on the Columns tab that you can add to the Opportunity List report.

Field Description
Opportunity Name This column displays the name of the opportunity.
Opportunity Number This column displays the opportunity identifier.
Team If you use teams in GovWin Capture Management, this column displays the identifier for the team in your firm that is responsible for pursuing the opportunity.
Team Name If you use teams in GovWin Capture Management, this column displays the name of the team in your firm that is responsible for pursuing the opportunity.
Primary Customer This column displays the name of the primary customer associated with the opportunity.
Primary Contact Name This column displays the name of the primary contact associated with the opportunity.
Row Count This column displays the total number of detail lines for each group, based on the sorting and grouping selections on the Sorting/Grouping tab. If the report groups data at more than one level, this column displays row counts for all grouping levels.
Contract Number If you created a contract record from the opportunity record, this column displays the contract number.
Contract Name If you created a contractrecord from the opportunity record, this column displays the contract name.
Promotional Contract Number If you created a promotional contract record from the opportunity record to track and bill charges for proposal generation, this column displays the promotional contract number.
Promotional Contract Name If you created a promotional contract record from the opportunity record to track and bill charges for proposal generation, this column displays the promotional contract name.
Primary Contact Title This column displays the title of the primary contact associated with the opportunity.
Primary Contact Business Phone This column displays the primary contact's business phone number.
Primary Contact Mobile Phone This column displays the primary contact's cellular phone number.
Primary Contact Business Fax This column displays the primary contact's business fax number.
Primary Contact Pager This column displays the primary contact's pager number.
Primary Contact E-mail This column displays the primary contact's email address.
Capture Manager Name This column displays the name of the employee serving as capture manager for the opportunity.
BD Manager Name This column displays the name of the BD manager responsible for the opportunity.
Executive Lead Name This column displays the name of the employee serving as executive lead for the opportunity.
Est. Revenue This column displays the estimated revenue you expect to earn from the opportunity.
Probability This column displays the probability that the opportunity will become a contract. For example, if that probability is 80%, this column displays 80.
Weighted Revenue This column displays the weighted revenue for the opportunity: Estimated revenue x Probability / 100.
Date Opened This column displays the date on which you identified the opportunity and began pursuing the job.
Closed Reason This is a drop-down list that lists pre-defined reasons why the opportunity closed. The options in the list are defined in the code tables found in Configuration.
Date Closed This column displays the date on which you closed the opportunity (for example, the date you stopped pursuing the opportunity or the date you were awarded the job).
Closed Notes This is a memo field that you can use to fill in any description that relates to the closing of the opportunity.
Days Open This column displays the number of days the opportunity has been open. For a closed opportunity, this is the number of days from the date it was opened to the date it was closed.
Stage This column displays the current stage of the opportunity (for example, Pending, Proposal Submitted, or Awarded).
Type This column displays the type of the opportunity (for example, Educational, Municipal, or Medical).
Source This column displays the source of the opportunity (for example, Customer Referral, Consultant Job, or Marketing Campaign).
Status This column displays the current status of the opportunity: Active or Inactive.
Est. Start Date This column displays the date you expect to begin work if you are awarded the contract.
Est. Compl. Date This column displays the date you expect to complete the work if you are awarded the contract.
Address 1 - 3 This column displays the opportunity mailing address information (street name and number, suite number, post office box number).
City This column displays the city from the opportunity address.
State This column displays the two-character abbreviation for the state from the opportunity address.
Zip This column displays the zip code from the opportunity address.
Country This column displays the country from the opportunity address.
County This column displays the county in which the opportunity is located.
Create User This column displays the user ID of the person who created the opportunity record in the Opportunity Info Center.
Create Date This column displays the date on which the opportunity record was created.
Modify User This column displays the user ID of the person who most recently modified the opportunity record.
Modify Date This column displays the date on which the opportunity record was most recently modified.
Description This column displays the description of the opportunity.
Owner Number This column displays the identifier of the activity owner.
Owner Name This column displays the name of the activity owner.
Owner Address Description This column displays the description of the activity owner's address (for example, Company Headquarters, Main Office, or Northeast Office).
Owner Concatenated Address This column displays the activity owner's primary street address, city, state, and ZIP code. The report shows this information in a single column.
Service Profile Code If Fee Estimate is enabled in Configuration > General > Opportunity Settings, this column displays the code for the service profile that is associated with the opportunity.
Service Profile Description If Fee Estimate is enabled in Configuration > General > Opportunity Settings, this column displays the description for the service profile that is associated with the opportunity.
ContractBD ManagerPrincipal This column displays the name of the BD manager for the contract associated with the opportunity.
Contract - Capture Manager Name This column displays the name of the capture manager for the contract associated with the opportunity.
Contract Executive Lead Name This column displays the name of the executive lead for the contract associated with the opportunity.
Contract Responsibility This column displays the level of responsibility your firm has for the contract associated with the opportunity (for example, Prime, Joint Venture, or Consultant).
Contract Type This column displays the contract type for the contract associated with the opportunity (for example, Environmental or Aviation).
Contract Start Date This column displays the start date of the contract associated with the opportunity.
Contract Est Completion Date This column displays the estimated completion date of the contract associated with the opportunity.
Contract Actual Completion Date This column displays the actual completion date of the contract associated with the opportunity.
Contract Total Contract Cost This column displays the total cost of the contract associated with the opportunity. This field is also used in the SF255 Item 8e, which asks for "total construction cost of completed projects (or, where no construction was involved, the approximate cost of your work)."
Contract Firm Cost This column displays the portion of the contract cost for which your firm is responsible.
Promo. Contract BD Manager Name If the contract associated with the opportunity is a promotional contract, this column displays the name of the BD manager.
Promo. Contract Capture Manager Name If the contract associated with the opportunity is a promotional contract, this column displays the name of the capture manager.
Promo. Contract Executive Lead Name If the contract associated with the opportunity is a promotional contract, this column displays the name of the executive lead.
Promo. Contract Responsibility If the contractassociated with the opportunity is a promotional contract, this column displays the level of responsibility your firm has for the contract (for example, Prime, Joint Venture, or Consultant).
Promo. Contract Type If the contract associated with the opportunity is a promotional contract, this column displays the contract type (for example, Environmental or Aviation).
Promo. Contract Start Date If the contract associated with the opportunity is a promotional contract, this column displays the contract's start date.
Promo. Contract Est Completion Date If the contract associated with the opportunity is a promotional contract, this column displays the estimated completion date.
Promo. Contract Actual Completion Date If the contract associated with the opportunity is a promotional contract, this column displays the actual completion date for the contract.
Promo. Contract Total Contract Cost I If the contract associated with the opportunity is a promotional contract, this column displays the total contract cost.
Promo. Contract Firm Cost If the contract associated with the opportunity is a promotional contract, this column displays the portion of the contract cost for which your firm is responsible.
Proposal Manager This column displays the employee in your team who has primary responsibility for submitting the proposal related to the opportunity.
Activities - Completed The activity can be Pending or Completed.
Activities - Type This column displays the activity type (for example, Phone Call, Meeting, or Email).
Activities - Subject This column displays a brief description of the activity (for example, Initial Consultation, Planning Meeting, Customer Lunch, or Follow-up Visit).
Activities - Start Date This column displays the date and time that the activity is scheduled to begin.
Activities - Priority This column displays the priority ranking that indicates the relative importance of individual activities: High, Medium, or Low.
Activities - Owner This column displays the name of the employee who is responsible for the activity.
Activities - Customer Contact This column displays the name of the customer contact associated with the activity.
Activities - Customer Contact Bus. Phone This column displays the customer contact's work telephone number.
Activities - Vendor/Partner This column displays the name of the vendor/partner associated with the activity.
Activities - Vendor/Partner Contact This column displays the name of the vendor/partner contact associated with the activity.
Activities - Vendor/Partner Contact Bus. Phone This column displays the vendor/partner contact's work telephone number.
Activities - Contract This column displays the name of the contract associated with the activity.
Activities - Marketing Campaign This column displays the identifier of the marketing campaign associated with the activity.
Activities - Lead This column displays the lead associated with the activity.
Activities - Location This column displays the location where the activity occurred or will occur.
Activities - Notes This column displays additional text that describes the activity.
Customers - Name This column displays the name of the customer associated with the opportunity.
Customers - Role This column displays the customer's role in the opportunity (for example, Owner, Developer, or Partner).
Customers - Role Description This column displays additional information about the customer's role in the opportunity.
Customers - Type This column displays the type of customer (for example, Commercial, Government, or Non-Profit).
Customers - Status This column displays the current status of your relationship with the customer: Active, Dormant, or Inactive.
Customers - Address This column displays the street address, city, state, and ZIP code of the customer.
Customers - Address Description This column displays the description of the customer's address.
Contacts - Name This column displays the name of the contact associated with the opportunity using the format Last Name, First Name.
Contacts - Customer This column displays the name of the customer associated with the contact.
Contacts - Role This column displays the contact's role in the opportunity (for example, Owner or Capture Manager).
Contacts - Role Description This column displays the contact's role in the opportunity (for example, Owner or Capture Manager).
Contacts -Title This column displays the contact's title (for example, Director, Capture Manager, or CEO).
Contacts - Business Phone This column displays the contact's business telephone number.
Contacts - Mobile Phone This column displays the contact's cellular telephone number.
Contacts - Business Fax This column displays the contact's business fax number.
Contacts - Pager This column displays the contact's pager number.
Contacts - E-mail This column displays the contact's email address.
Contacts - Address1 This column displays the contact's street address.
Contacts - City This column displays the city from the contact's address.
Contacts - State This column displays the state from the contact's address.
Contacts - ZIP This column displays the zip code from the contact's address.
Employees - Name This column displays the name of the employee associated with the opportunity.
Employees - Role This column displays the employee's role in the opportunity (for example, Lead Architect or Structural Engineer).
Employees - Role Description This column displays an additional description of the employee's role in the opportunity.
Employees - Title This column displays the title of the employee associated with the opportunity (for example, Architect, Engineer, or Designer).
Links - Description
Links - File Path This column contains one of the following:
  • The address (URL) for a Web site, intranet site, file transfer (FTP) site, and so on. If you preview the report, you can click the link to go to that address.
Links - Graphic
Marketing Campaigns - Name This column displays the name of the marketing campaign associated with the opportunity.
Marketing Campaigns - Number This column displays the identifier for the marketing campaign associated with the opportunity.
Contract Codes - Contract Code This column displays the contract code associated with the opportunity.

Contract codes enable you to identify the types work or stages of work you expect to perform and to enter estimated fees for each one.

Contract Codes - Description This column displays the description of the contract code.
Contract Codes - Fee This column displays the estimated fee for the work that the contract code represents.
Contract Codes - SF330 This column displays the SF330 code for the contract code.
Proposals - Name This column displays the name of the proposal.
Proposals - Number This column displays the proposal identifier.
Proposals - Type This column displays the proposal type (for example, Draft Proposal, or Technical Proposal).
Proposals - Team If you use teams in GovWin Capture Management, this column displays the team in your firm that is responsible for producing the proposal.
Proposals - Responsible Person This column displays the name of the employee responsible for producing the proposal.
Proposals - Status This column displays the status of the proposal (for example, Pending, Won, Lost, Go/No Go, or Delayed).
Proposals - Source This column displays the proposal source (for example, customer referral, consultant job, or marketing campaign).
Proposals - Date Advertised This column displays the date on which the request for proposal was published.
Proposals - Due Date This column displays the date by which you must submit the proposal.
Proposals - Submittal Date This column displays the actual date on which you submitted the proposal or expect to submit it.
Proposals - Award Date This column displays the date on which your firm was awarded the contract for the proposed job.
Proposals - Fee This column displays the fee associated with the proposal.
Proposals - Linked Proposal If you have created a proposal, this column displays the name of the proposal linked to the opportunity.
Proposals - Linked SF255 If you have created an SF255 proposal, this column displays the name of the SF255 proposal linked to the opportunity.
Proposals - Linked SF330 If you have created an SF330 proposal, this column displays the name of the SF330 proposal linked to the opportunity.
Proposals - Notes This column displays the text entered on the Notes tab of the Proposal Detail dialog box. That dialog box opens when you insert a proposal on the Proposals tab of the Opportunity Info Center.
Vendor/Partners - Name This column displays the name of the vendor/partner or consultant working on the opportunity.
Vendor/Partners - Role This column displays the vendor/partner's role in the opportunity (for example, Surveying, Printing, or Security).
Vendor/Partners - Role Description This column displays an additional description of the vendor/partner's role on the opportunity.
Vendor/Partners - Address Description This column displays the description of the vendor/partner's address (for example, Company Headquarters or Distribution Center).
Vendor/Partners - Address1 This column displays the vendor/partner's primary street address.
Vendor/Partners - City This column displays the city from the vendor/partner's address.
Vendor/Partners - State This column displays the state from the vendor/partner's address.
Vendor/Partners - ZIP This column displays the ZIP code from the vendor/partner's address.
Master Contract This column displays the master contract that is associated with the opportunity.
Duration This column displays the total expected duration of the contract (for example, 1 year base plus 4 x 1 year option).
Competition Columns If you selected Competition in the Grid Type field on the General tab of the Options dialog box for this report, the following competition fields from the Competition tab in the Opportunities Info Center display in the Column Name field on the Columns tab. Select a column to add it to the report.
