Use the Modifications tab of the Contract Info Center to enter and track all contract modifications. The Modifications tab consists of a grid that you use to enter details about individual contract modifications.
If you are using Deltek Costpoint, the modification information on the Modifications tab is based on modification data entered in your Deltek Costpoint database, and all the fields on this tab can be populated automatically via Costpoint Integration. Costpoint integration for the fields on this tab will be available in Version 2 of the Costpoint Integration. For more information on the Costpoint Integration, please contact your Account Manager.
If you are not using Deltek Costpoint, you can still use the Modifications tab; however, you must manually enter the modification information.
The Modifications tab displays detail information for each modification entered on a contract. Deltek Costpoint users can also view summary data for all the modifications details on the Contract Summary Tab of Contract Info Center.

Modifications Drop-down

Click the drop-down arrow on a grid header to complete any of the following actions:
- To print grid data, click
Print. On the Print Preview form, click
to send the grid data to your default printer.
- To export grid data to an Excel spreadsheet, click
Export to Excel. When Microsoft Excel opens, use its features to modify, print, or email the grid data, or to save the spreadsheet file locally.
- To turn on grouping for a grid, click
Enable Grouping. When a field displays with the instruction: "Drag a column header here to group by that column," drag and drop column headers into the field, in the sequence that you want them to display.
Not all options are available on all grids.

Insert
|
Click this option to add modification data to the grid.

Copy
|
Click this option to copy modification data from one row to another row on the grid.

Delete
|
Click this option to remove a row of modification data from the grid.
|
Mod ID
|
Enter an identification number for the contract modification (for example: 001, 002, 003, and so on).
|
Effective Date
|
Enter the date on which the modification was issued.
|
Description
|
This field displays a description of the associated contract in Deltek Costpoint, if applicable.
|
Start Date
|
Enter the modification start date.
|
End Date
|
Enter the modification end date.
|
Value Cost Amount
|
Enter a cost amount for the modification.
|
Value Fee Amount
|
Enter a fee amount for the modification, if you are charging a flat fee for the modification.
|
Value Fee Percent
|
Enter a fee percent for the modification, if you are charging a fee based on a percentage of cost.
|
Funded Fee Percent
|
Enter a funded fee percent for the modification, if you are charging a fee based on a percentage of cost. This percentage represents the percentage of cost the government has agreed to pay (fund) as a fee for this modification.

Funded Cost Amount
|
Enter a funded cost amount for the modification. This amount represents the total cost amount the government has agreed to pay (fund) for the modification.

Funded Fee Amount
|
Enter a funded fee amount for the modification. This amount represents the total fee amount the government has agreed to pay (fund) for the modification.

Notes
|
Enter any applicable notes or additional information about the modification.
|
ModDate
|
If you are using Deltek Costpoint, this field displays the date the modification was entered in your Costpoint database.
|
ModUser
|
If you are using Deltek Costpoint, this field displays the User ID of the user who entered the modification in your Costpoint database
|
Contract
|
If you are using Deltek Costpoint, this field displays the contract number of the associated contract in your Costpoint database.
