Create a New Contract from an Opportunity

You can create a new contract from an existing opportunity.

To create a new contract from an opportunity, complete the following steps:

1. From the GovWin Capture Management Navigation menu, click Info Center > Contracts.
2. Click New and select Create Contract from.
3. On the Create Contract from dialog box, set the Copy From field to Opportunity.
4. In the Opportunity field, click Search to open the Opportunity lookup and select the opportunity that you want to use to create the new contract record.
5. Complete the remaining fields on the Copy Contract from dialog box (for the new contract record).
6. Click OK. GovWin Capture Management closes the Create Contract from dialog box and opens a new contract record. GovWin Capture Management enters the opportunity's information in the new contract record.
7. On the tabs of the Contract Info Center form, enter additional information about the new contract.
8. Click Save.
