Create a New Contract from an Existing Contract

You can copy an existing contract record to duplicate its information, and then edit and save the record to create a new contract record.

To create a new contract from an existing contract, complete the following steps:

  1. From the GovWin Capture Management Navigation menu, click Info Center > Contracts.
  2. Click New and select Create Contract from.
  3. On the Create Contract from dialog box, set the Copy From field to Existing.
  4. In the Contract field, click Search to open the Contract lookup and select the contract record that you want to copy.
  5. Complete the remaining fields on the Create Contract from dialog box and click OK. GovWin Capture Management closes the Create Contract from dialog box and opens a new contract record. GovWin Capture Management copies the entire Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and all contract data from the selected contract record to the new contract record.
  6. On the tabs of the Contract Info Center form, enter additional information about the new contract.
  7. Click Save.
