Create a New Contract from an Existing Contract
You can copy an existing contract record to duplicate its information, and then edit and save the record to create a new contract record.
To create a new contract from an existing contract, complete the following steps:
- From the GovWin Capture Management Navigation menu, click .
- Click New and select Create Contract from.
- On the Create Contract from dialog box, set the Copy From field to Existing.
- In the Contract field, click Search to open the Contract lookup and select the contract record that you want to copy.
- Complete the remaining fields on the Create Contract from dialog box and click OK. GovWin Capture Management closes the Create Contract from dialog box and opens a new contract record. GovWin Capture Management copies the entire Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and all contract data from the selected contract record to the new contract record.
- On the tabs of the Contract Info Center form, enter additional information about the new contract.
- Click Save.
